Ingredients:
3 Avocados
¼ cup Red Onion
2 tbsp Cilantro chopped
1 tbsp Lime Juice
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Method:
Finely dice ¼ cup of red onion and chop 2 tablespoons of fresh cilantro. Set aside.
Cut open your avocados, remove the pits, and scoop them into a medium-sized bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of lime juice.
Using a fork or whisk, mash and stir the avocados until you reach your desired guacamole texture.
Add in the diced red onion, chopped cilantro, and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Mix to combine.
Serve immediately or let chill in the fridge for 5–10 minutes before enjoying.
Additional Notes:
Prevent Browning: Guacamole naturally starts to brown as it’s exposed to air. To slow this process, press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guac before refrigerating, or cover it with a thin layer of lemon juice.
Customize Texture: For chunkier guacamole, mash lightly with a fork. For a smoother dip, use a whisk.
