Bananas are one of the most complete and delicious fruits that nature offers us. They are sweet, filling, and best of all, we can take them everywhere.
In this case, we’ll be talking about the peel. As with most foods, especially fruits, we only eat the white pulp inside and then throw the peel away.
Uses of the banana
Mosquito bites
Mosquitoes can be found everywhere, especially in countries with warm climates. One trick you can use to reduce the inflammation and itching caused by mosquito bites is to rub the inside of a banana peel on the affected area.
There haven’t really been any studies done on this; but many people endorse this trick and claim it works wonders.
Shiny shoes
Is your shoe polish all gone? Don’t worry, just rub a banana peel on the surface of your shoes. It will bring out that shine that makes them gleam so bright.
When you finish rubbing the shell, you should wipe it with a soft cloth to remove any remaining residue.
Bitumen is a product that contains potassium in its ingredients; and banana peel is a great source of this mineral.
