The Powerful Healing Power of Ginger
Ginger has long been prized for its ability to ease digestive issues. It’s traditionally used to relieve nausea, motion sickness, morning sickness, bloating, colic, and general stomach discomfort. But its benefits extend far beyond the gut. Modern research shows that ginger may also improve heart health by reducing plaque buildup in the aorta, as well as triglycerides, LDL, and total cholesterol levels.

It even appears to suppress the body’s own production of cholesterol.

Some studies suggest that ginger contains compounds that may reduce the risk of colon cancer. Ginger also has pain-relieving properties.
