Shocking footage shows the blocks fly off the truck and collide with several parked cars in a terrifying crash on the North-South Motorway in southern Australia.

The truck was merging into a new lane at 10:30am on Friday when its heavy load started to come loose.

The 15-ton delivery crashed onto the road and struck three cars parked on the motorway’s shoulder.

Police said two bystanders hit by the slabs were “lucky to be alive”.

Cops said: “One of the pedestrians was taken to hospital by ambulance with a suspected broken arm. Two other people sustained minor injuries.
